The launching of this service comes with the aim of sharing the religious views of the General Iftaa` Department on issues concerning daily life situations. It seeks to promote awareness, guidance, correct any misconceptions, and enhance the content published through this application to convey the true message of Islam— moderate and balanced — to the citizens.

It is impermissible to swear on the Holy Quran in vain, and it is also impermissible to subject it to such an act since breaking the oath after swearing on the Quran entails an expiation.

Who is the "Capable Person" for whom the Udhiyah is prescribed?

Praise be to Allah, and peace and blessings be upon our Master, the Messenger of Allah.
 
The Capable Person (Al-Qadir): is the one who possesses wealth in excess of their own basic needs and the needs of their spouse, children, or anyone they are responsible for supporting, during the day of Eid and the three days of Tashreeq; as this period constitutes the designated time for the sacrifice. If such parties involve mixing between men and women, or forbidden acts such as listening to songs with sinful lyrics, then attending them is forbidden from the view point of Sharia since people`s admonition is nothing compared to Allah`s, The Almighty`s, wrath.
