The Grand Mufti Denies the Invalidity of Divorce during the Curfew

 

His Grace the Grand Mufti of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, Sheikh Abdul Karim Al-Khasawneh, denied what was mentioned in a message that some people are circulating, which attributes to His Grace the statement that divorce that takes place during the days of curfew is invalid.

 

He said that this claim is false and that divorce cases are handled by the Department`s Muftis during this temporary circumstance and in an exceptional manner to facilitate for the citizens. He added that it is necessary that people involved in such cases visit the Department after this epidemic ends to get a written Fatwa.

 

His Grace warned against circulating such rumors via social media and doing so is typical of the hypocrites and a form of lying and fabricating, which are amongst the major sins. Allah the Almighty says {what means}: " It is those who believe not in the Signs of God, that forge falsehood: it is they who lie!"

Is it permissible for a woman to uncover her face while performing Umrah (minor Hajj)?

The woman while in a state of Ihram (ritual consecration) is obligated to uncover her face and hands, but at the same time permitted to let her head-covering garment drape from her head down over her face when non-Mahram (i.e., marriageable) men pass by her. And Allah Knows Best.

Is it permissible for a wife`s family to demand her husband to divorce her although she doesn`t want that?

It is forbidden for them to do that in case their daughter doesn`t want divorce unless there was a sin that continues as long as the marriage survives.

Talking to one's fiancée in Ramadan with romantic talk may lead to arousal, and if pre-ejaculate fluid (Madhy) is discharged as a result, it does not break the fast. The discharge of Madhy doesn't invalidate one's fasting but it invalidates the ablution and his clothes must be washed because they are impure in this case. As for Mani, it breaks one's fast and making up invalidataed  is obligatory, beside; a Muslim suitor should abstain from these matters during Ramadan and not to degrade the holy month to this extent. Is it permissible for a woman whose menses exceeded (15) days to pray, fast and do what was prohibited on her to do during the latter period?

If the menses exceeded 15 days then it is deemed menstruation, and in this case she is obliged to pray and fast and to do what was impermissible for her to do during the latter period. In addition, she is obliged to make an ablution for each obligatory prayer after it's due time and making sure that impuity is removed. Finally, your menstruation period is over (Questioner) simlar to your menstruation in the previos month.
