A Statement on the 10th Anniversary of Amman Bombings

 

All perfect praise be to Allah, The Lord of The Worlds, and may His peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Mohammad and upon all his family and companions.

At this time of every year, Jordanians mark the anniversary of the bombings that ripped through three hotels in Amman on Nov.9th, 2005, killing and wounding many innocent civilians. This series of coordinated bomb attacks was conducted by a terrorist group that harbors radical ideologies.

 

The General Iftaa` Department prays that Allah bestows His mercy on the martyrs, admits them into Heaven, and empowers their families with patience and solace. The Department calls upon Jordanians to be united and persistent against terrorist and extremist ideologies which don`t represent the tolerant values of Islam, and are weird to our society.

 

Moreover, the Department calls upon Jordanians to support the ceaseless efforts of the armed forces and the security departments in fighting terrorist groups in order to preserve our unity, security, and stability.

 

The Department prays that Allah The Almighty keeps Jordan peaceful and secure under the wise leadership of His Majesty King Abdullah the second, and wishes the same for all Muslim countries. And All perfect praise be to Allah, The Lord of Worlds.

The shared land is possessed by the country i.e. for all people; therefore, it shouldn't be possessed/occupied save by it's guardian/owner permission,thusly it can't be possessed save by having owners' permission. Finally, buying it from a person who don't possess it is impermissible. And Allah Knows Best.

What is the ruling on wiping the head during ablution from behind a barrier like a headscarf (hijab)?

The obligation in ablution is to wipe some of the head; it is not a condition to wipe all of it. As for one who has a turban or headscarf on their head, it is permissible for them to wipe over it after wiping a part of their head in any place. This is easily done at the front of the head. This means the woman begins by wiping the front of her head from under the headscarf, then completes the wiping to the back of the head from over the headscarf. If the woman wipes over the headscarf on her head and the moisture reaches the scalp or some hair within the boundaries of the head, it suffices for wiping the head. And Allah the Almighty knows best.

Is it permissible for a woman to inherit the same share as of a man?

All perfect praise be to Allah, The Lord of The Worlds, and may His peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad and upon all if his family and companions.                                                                                                                                                                                                 Thorough studies in which woman's right to inherit according to law of distribution of estate indicates that there are more than one case by which women inherit the same as man and sometimes much more, or to shed the lights regarding the right to inherit while men who share the same family line with her don't have the right to inherit because the deceased has closer ties of kinship with her. In addition to four cases whereas woman inherits half share in comparison with man's share although they had the same degree of kinship with the deceased. What is the ruling on a Muslim who slaughters an animal while being in a state of Janabah (ritual impurity)?

All Perfect Praise be to Allah, The Lord of The Worlds, and may His Peace and Blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad and upo all of his family and companions.

Slaughtering is permissible for the ritually impure man and the menstruating woman because ritual purity isn`t a condition for the validity of the slaughtering. Moreover, it is permissible for the uncircumcised person to do the slaughtering as well. And Allah The Almighy Knows Best.
