Praise be to Allah the Lord of the Worlds.
1- The cost of the local feeding program should be covered from funds other than those of Zakah because the condition that the funds must be possessed by the eligible recipients of Zakah (Poor & needy) isn`t met, in addition to the fact that there are rich as well as poor students.
2- The same rule applies to the school feeding program.
3- It is permissible to cover the cost of the family feeding program from the Zakah funds because it serves poor families. However, the food parcel should be gifted to the head of the household.
4- It is permissible to give the poor trainee an amount that equals the subscription fee of the training and employment program, as he is required to pay it. Thus, paying him from the Zakah funds is actually helping him perform this financial obligation. And Allah The Almighty Knows Best.
