Question :

What is the Islamic ruling on the bombing of hospitals by the Zionist enemy during the war on Gaza?

The Answer :

All perfect praise be to Allah the Lord of the Worlds. May His peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Mohammad and upon all his family and companions.

What the treacherous Zionist enemy is doing in terms of bombing civilians and their homes, destroying mosques, schools, and hospitals, in addition to cutting off the food, water, and medicine supplies to our people in Gaza, is considered a morally and religiously prohibited act. It is condemned by international laws and norms. It is also in violation of international humanitarian law, human rights treaties, and all international agreements and conventions. This despicable and cowardly behavior constitutes a heinous war crime and a flagrant violation of human rights.

Indeed, it is the duty of all Muslims to support our brethren in Palestine through financial aid, prayers, kind words, raising their morale, refuting malicious propaganda, exposing the shameful crimes of the enemy, and making efforts to stop the brutal war against them. It is also essential to provide humanitarian assistance to them. Since our Prophet, Mohammad (PBUH) said: " A Muslim is a Muslim’s brother: he does not wrong him or abandon him. If anyone cares for his brother’s need, Allah will care for his need; if anyone removes a Muslim’s anxiety, Allah will remove from him, on account of it, one of the anxieties of the Day of resurrection; and if anyone conceals a Muslim’s fault, Allah will conceal his fault on the Day of resurrection. [Agreed upon].

It is highly important to emphasize the need to preserve the internal unity of our state, in accordance with the command of Allah in the Quran, for He, The Most Exalted Says (What means): "And obey Allah and His Messenger, and do not dispute and [thus] lose courage and [then] your strength would depart; and be patient. Indeed, Allah is with the patient." [Al-Anfal/46]. And Allah The Almighty Knows Best.
