King Bestows State Centennial Medal on Iftaa` Department

 

His Majesty King Abdullah II bestowed the State Centennial Medal on the General Iftaa` Department (9/10/2022) for its adherence to the moderate centrist Islamic method of fatwa and avoiding aberrant fatwas. 

The State Centennial Medal was received by Sheikh AbdulKareem AlKhasawneh during the celebration of Prophet Mohammad`s birth anniversary held by the Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs at the King Abdullah I Mosque in Amman.

A man break his fast once during Ramadan and he already have an expiation of fasting for two consecutive months. He fasted for a month and passed away. Is it permissible for his sons to fast the remaining month equally? 

Fasting for expiation must be performed consecutively. I advise his children to feed sixty poor people, giving each one half a kilogram of rice or its monetary equivalent. Working for a company that manufactures cigarettes is forbidden because smoking itself is forbidden, so its production, selling and circulation are forbidden as a result since they aid in committing sin, and whoever aids in that is like the sinner himself. And Allah Knows Best.

According to Sharia, a woman`s clothing shouldn`t be attractive so as to prevent sedition. However, it is better for a woman to be on the safe side and avoid such clothes. And Allah The Almighty Knows Best.

Yes, it is permissible for the wife to give from the Zakah of her money to her poor husband. And Allah Knows Best.
